A New Type of Benchtop CNC Mill
The PCNC 770 has the power and precision necessary to work with real world materials or real world designs but is portable and easy to install in a small office or workshop.
maximum versatility in a small CNC mill
The PCNC 770 is designed from the ground up for maximum versatility in a small CNC mill. It’s designed for the materials you cut the most: aluminum, light metals, and plastic, but with enough horsepower to tackle the harder stuff when needed.
THE MOST VERSATILE SMALL MILL AVAILABLE TODAY
With a space-saving footprint, exclusive knock- down design, and basic household 115VAC power requirement, the PCNC 770 is the most versatile small mill available today and a perfect fit, no matter what size your shop is.

an alternative to the other expensive underpowered benchtop CNC mills
Tormach developed the PCNC 770 as an alternative to the expensive underpowered benchtop CNC mills typically encountered in R&D, Prototyping. Product Design, Education, Hobby CNC and other non-traditional machine shop environments. Our concept was to create a benchtop mill with power and rigidity to do real work, while still retaining all the important features that make a CNC benchtop milling machine attractive in the first place: small size, portability, and minimal input power.
Build the perfect cnc machine for your particular need
When it comes to customizing your PCNC mill Tormach leads the way in available options. Build the perfect cnc machine for your particular need with a wide array of PCNC mill upgrades and add-ons. From enclosures to ATC’s and Power Drawbars, get the options you need for your shop.
designed and built to last
The PCNC 770 isn’t your ordinary benchtop CNC. Instead of extruded aluminum, it’s built with a stout cast- iron frame. Each PCNC 770 benchtop CNC mill employs over 650 lbs of cast iron and steel, precisely placed to provide maximum frame rigidity in a size that’s not much bigger than a traditional benchtop CNC. This makes the PCNC 770 a perfect choice as a benchtop milling machine.
Each PCNC 770 features hand-scraped cast iron hydrodynamic sliding dovetailed ways – still the best technology available for withstanding high loads and dampening machining vibrations. All PCNC 770 way surfaces are bonded with low-friction PTFE filled Acetyl co-polymer, then hand scraped by master machine builders. Similar to brand name compounds such as Turcite® or Rulon®, the PTFE filled Acetyl minimizes sliding chatter by virtually eliminating stick/slip friction while also providing superior wear resistance for a lifetime of use.

Frustrating software makes for a cranky machinist. We get that. We developed our own control software., PathPilot. It’s rated at the tip top of control softwares. You know, tip tip? The very top part of the top part? That’s where we rank.

PCNC 770 Enclosures, Stands,
Arms, Guards, & Accessories
This flood coolant kit is highly recommended for general metal cutting. The kit includes a coolant reservoir tank, pump, hose, and necessary fittings and mounting brackets. It also includes a backsplash surround and chip guard.
The PCNC 770 stand is a welded steel base designed to support the weight of the PCNC 770 without compromising portability – a pallet jack can be easily positioned underneath the base when the mill needs to be moved. Includes generous left and right side chip trays with leak resistant drip channeling, leveling feet, and storage compartments for both tools and control computer.
Automatic Tool Changer for PCNC 770
The Tormach Tooling System ATC is a 10 tool carousel-style automatic TTS tool changer for the PCNC 1100 and PCNC 770 Mill. The side mounted changer integrates with our existing power draw bar system to automatically change tools via controller command.
The Power Drawbar integrates with your PCNC Mill for lightning-fast manual tool changes with the push of a button and eliminates the need to hand-tighten your drawbar. To change tools, a pneumatic multi-stack air-over-air cylinder is actuated to depress the drawbar, releasing clamping pressure and opening the collet without putting harmful load on the spindle bearings. When the cylinder is released, the drawbar tightens and the tool is held firmly in place. This system provides over 2500lbs of holding force to the tool.
Tormach motorized rotary tables are plug-and play options to turn your PCNC Mill into a 4-axis CNC machine when coupled with our 4th axis integration kits. All tables are designed and built for machining operations that involve large forces, cutting fluids, and frequent operation.
Our motorized rotary tables are also popular with machine builders, manufacturing engineers, and OEMs for custom integration as a 4-axis CNC capability for third party machinery or incorporation in a custom motion or manufacturing work cell.
Turn your Tormach PCNC mill into a CNC Lathe for small parts with the RapidTurn™ chucker lathe accessory. RapidTurn’s space saving design provides real CNC lathe functionality and one setup for turning and milling.
31446 – Lifting Bar
The lifting bar is an accessory used for hoisting a PCNC mill, primarily for the purpose of placing the mill on a stand. When installed properly it provides a lift point directly over the center of gravity. The set includes bar and all necessary chains, shackles and attachment hardware. Detailed instructions are included with the set.
The PCNC 770 Moving Kit
Exclusive to the PCNC 770, the patent-pending moving kit lets you disassemble your PCNC 770 into 3 subcomponents (column, base, and head) for easy relocation into small spaces like basement or garage workshops. The moving kit includes everything you need for to safely disassemble the PCNC 770 into manageable pieces without damaging any of its precision surfaces.
Spindle Load Meter
The Spindle Load Meter accessory for Tormach PCNC milling machines offers a way to visually monitor the spindle load of the machine.
Stop your CNC milling machine up to 10 feet away with the Integrated Remote E-stop Kit. Multiple remote E-stop buttons can be linked together in a series to provide additional emergency stop locations.
Automatic oilers make oiling a CNC machine easy, since a small amount is released every few hours to make sure the machine is properly lubricated to help prevent friction-induced wear. Each of the kits sold by Tormach include all the components needed to set up an automated oiling system for your CNC mill, lathe, or grinder.
