Personal CNC 770 Mill Installation Tools
About the Lifting Bar
The lifting bar is an accessory used for hoisting a PCNC mill, primarily for the purpose of placing the mill on a stand. When installed properly it provides a lift point directly over the center of gravity. The set includes bar and all necessary chains, shackles and attachment hardware. Detailed instructions are included with the set.
Common lift equipment such as engine hoists or chain hoists attached to overhead beams commonly have limitations in vertical lift capacity. The lifting bar provides a lift point as low as possible relative to the machine frame. This allows lifting the mill up on top of a stand despite low overhead clearance and the limited reach of an engine hoist. The kit includes locking hardware plate that properly distributes force in the T slot and ensures that the chain will not slip horizontally in the slot.
