Shipping Information

At Tormach, our PCNC 1100 milling machine, Deluxe Stand and Basic Stand are shipped truck freight from Chicago. All other products are shipped via UPS, USPS or truck freight out of our Wisconsin office.

The shipping cost for most of our products is calculated automatically if you go through our online shopping cart. The shipping cost for our PCNC 1100 milling machine, Deluxe Stand and Basic Stand is a bit more complicated and depends on several factors, so we have to calculate that cost manually. Below is the information we need from you to produce an accurate shipping quote.

Orders are processed from 8:00am - 4:00pm (CT), Monday through Friday. All orders placed after 4:00pm are processed the following business day. If you place an order after 4:00pm on Friday, it will not be processed until the following Monday.

USA

We need to know the following:

• What you are buying.

• Whether the destination is commercial or residential.

• Whether tailgate delivery is needed or not. If you do not have a lift truck or loading dock, you need tailgate delivery.

• Your postal code.

Customers can also pick up their machines directly from our Chicago warehouse if that is more cost effective.

Canada

Similar to USA shipments, we can arrange all details of your shipment to Canada. We need to know the following:

• What you are buying.

• Whether the destination is commercial or residential.

• Whether tailgate delivery is needed or not. If you do not have a lift truck or loading dock, you need tailgate delivery.

• Your postal code.

• Your preference for customs clearance issues.

• Whether you wish us to broker or if you will engage your own broker.

If you prefer, Tormach can take care of all customs, duty and tax issues and include those costs on your shipping bill. However, if you recover GST on your income taxes, as most Canadian businesses do, you should engage a broker directly who will work on your behalf. We can refer a broker if you prefer.

International

International shipments are completed with freight forwarding companies. Tormach will provide a quotation for delivery to the USA based facility of your freight forwarder, or your freight forwarder can arrange for pickup from our warehouse in Chicago.

Your freight forwarding agent works on your behalf and will insure a problem free delivery to your facility. They are familiar with all the details of shipping, customs clearance, port operations and local delivery in your country. 

Our shipping department can advise on procedures and even recommend a freight forwarding company that is experienced in your part of the world. Please contact us if you have questions on international shipping. We will need to know who your freight forwarding company is before we can provide a shipping quotation.
