About Modular Insert Tooling - Toroidal Cutters
Toroidal cutters, often referred to as button cutters, use round inserts that can be repositioned multiple times for a continuous cutting edge. Round inserts are also inherently strong and are able to withstand higher cutting forces. Toroidal cutters are ideal for both facing and for pocketing, where they can be used to make inside corner fillets. The default quantity shown will add all parts necessary to make a complete tool. Modify the quantity as needed to include extra replacement parts or alternative length mounts.
