Basic CNC Stand
The basic machine stand is convenient for tight locations or tight budgets. The tray is large enough to cover the full range of table motion. This stand works well with dry cutting, mist coolant or limited flood coolant. The stand does not include a coolant system or a guard. Stands are shipped via truck freight. Basic CNC Stand Details
The basic machine stand is shipped
in one crate. The tray is made of
two pieces in order to fit into
the crate. The center front edge
of the tray is protected with a
stainless steel C channel to align
the two sides and protect this high
wear area."All of the following images are computer generated, showing the stand from all sides.
To the right is a CAD image from the back of the basic stand. Large adjustable machine feet provide minimal floor loading while allowing machine leveling. Integral rubber pads reduce vibration and help distribute loading even on rough concrete floors.
This image also shows the coolant collection tray. Your coolant tank is placed on the floor behind the stand. The main tray and coolant tray must be assembled with sealant if you intend to operate with flood coolant.

There is a ridge welded on the cabinet
top between each of the corner mount
pads. This keeps coolant and chips
from collecting under the machine.
The machine mount pads are machined
or scraped as necessary after fabrication
is complete in order to ensure a
flat four point mount for your mill.Below is an image of the stand's side view. It shows two reinforced holes just under the machine tray. If you have a fork lift, just slide two metal bars through to the other side to create convenient lift points. Colors

For USA and Canadian shipments the stands and mills are shipped truck freight while all other accessories are shipped UPS. International shipments other than Canada are consolidated for a single LCL (Less than Container Load) shipment.
